LimeLife by Alcone is the only network marketing company recognized as official sponsors of big industry shows as The Makeup Show (for pro artists) and other highly attended industry shows. Because of our roots and relationships in the pro community we have been blessed to have everyone from Oprah's original makeup artist, Reggie Wells, to Kim Kardashian's artist Mario Dedivonvic, to Lottie, to Danessa Myricks and James Vincent teach our field of beauty guides over the years. James and Danessa were given the title of the official educators of LimeLife's field a couple of years ago and do a lot to consult with LimeLife to create more amazing items and shade expansions.
While we didn't start out as a company that looked to take a more natural route, we knew we needed to work with the companies we had relationships with to figure out how we could head that way. As a brand that was now being brought into homes to be used daily we felt a different level of responsibility than when we used the products for a quick job that would be washed off that night. While the skincare has always been natural and effective, LimeLife has worked with our collaborators to create exclusive natural, harmful chemical free products that are Leaping Bunny approved to provide our customers with confidence. LimeLife by Alcone's roots started when makeup artists and their customers were frequenting the parent company, Alcone's, pro store in New York for a product they wanted. What they were met with was containers of multiple colors made for the artist who works with many skintones in mind. There was no easy way to offer the same top notch quality to someone who was not in the industry and artists were not able to make any commission for their referrals. This is how LimeLife got started. As Alcone was known as being beauty curators, bringing in only lines that were sought after and needed, LimeLife followed suit and teamed up with some of the most amazing lines who offered the top selling pro foundation in their store, and another line who offered the top selling pro concealer in their store, etc. This is what makes the LimeLife brand so unique. It always sets it standards to not only be good, but to strive to be the best the industry offers.
